The www.romancoins.info team is currently working on a image collection of superbe quality portraits of Roman Emperors and their families on Roman coins to form the base of an exciting book project planned to be available end 2011 to the Numismatic public.

Images submitted must be of coins EF or better of exceptional portrait style, regardless of nominal. High resolution color jpegs are okay for the selection process, in the final version high resolution tif files are needed, with black background to ease cutting out of the background, white meter visible (cm grid). Images of obverse and reverse are needed, however only the obverse will be shown enlarged.

You must indicate and confirm you are the owner of the image and grant use of your image to Andreas Pangerl from www.romancoins.info.

The project will consist of ca. 1000 highest quality Roman coins available with the finest style portraits. Images will be to the biggest part presented in large full page size in a book of ca. DINA4 paper size.
